The last place in the world you want to be if you don't already live there. Post housing crash Newport Beach weekenders trying to run the place, grizzled old territorial local surfers, and a bunch of bored teenagers make this place heaven for some, and hell for most others. The surf can get good, great even, but the locals rule the spot. If you don't live here, don't surf here. Slashed tires, broken windows, and the occasional beatdown is common. If the locals don't get you, and the surf is big, it will get you even worse. Silver Strand can take care of itself. White, Mexican, Philipino, Samoan, Japanese, it doesn't matter out here. It's us against the world. One road in, one road out. Drugs are rampant but crime is petty. Home to the Nardcore punk scene. Many legendary bands came from Silver Strand. Agression, Stalag 13, Dr. Know, Ill Repute, and recently In Control and Annihilation Time. Home of The Currans, Nathaniel and Timmy, pro surfers. Brandon Cruz, local surfer turned kid actor, now back to local surfer. Food is good, cheap, and varied. Pepe's Mexican, Jetty Surf Sushi, and Big Daddy O's BBQ. Quincy Street for the O.C. transplants and rich kooks.

I ordered 3 of your mugs, with different names on them. There was a typo in the information about the name on the back of each of the mugs. This wasn’t a dealbreaker because the people who received them liked them. However, it would be nice if somebody who has basic proficiency in spelling English words could proofread the script for all of your names before they’re prepared.
