Scriabin Mug
Александр Скрябин, translated to Alexander Scriabin (can also be spelled Skrjabin, to be classier) was a badass mystical Russian composer and pianist who was born in 1871 and died in 1915, who also claimed he was God (because he was). He wrote especially for piano and orchestra, loved theosophy and also wrote poems, he wanted his music to be the most ecstatic ("orgasmic") as possible by mixing all of the senses, which explains why he wrote music about sex. He started making his work Mysterium that was supposed to last 7 days (which had for goal to end the world) but sadly never finished it. He also had the best moustache ever.

this mug reminds me of my cat, it does nothing and cant pour me a nice cup of joe. It is horrible, it doesn't tell nor does it allow me sip on it. It stops me from drinking from it, its like the mug is trying to torture me.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.
