Pick Me Boyfriend A pick me boyfriend is one who only does an action only if they agree with it. If they don’t agree with an action, they will act confused and refuse. They will further victimize themselves by saying it’s the girlfriends fault for asking. They may further blame the girlfriend for voicing what she wants if she responds with anger or ignores in retaliation to boyfriends refusal. On the frequent occasion, as argument is in transit, boyfriend may say the girlfriend isn't a good communicator. A pick me boyfriend requires numerous reminders 1-20+ times before considering an action. He will say you nag too much for his inability to do something the first time it’s said. We have wonderful men in government and business which require swift action, but he will require 1-20+ reminders to say you’re nagging. He will make you praise him for finally building up the motivation to do said reminder. Ex. Girlfriend asks boyfriend to help with the dishes. Boyfriend refuses and says it that isn’t his job and it’s his girlfriends job. Boyfriend values his time over his girlfriend’s and he sees the girlfriend’s time is better used to do the dishes. Ex. Girlfriend reminds boyfriend 1-3 times a day to pick up his clothes off the floor. Boyfriend continues to throw dirty clothes on the floor for “whomever” to pick it up or “whenever he feels like it.” Habit may on the rare occasion be resolved in 1 hr to 100yrs.
