Numbers begin with 0 and stretch out to infinity and beyond. The magic of numbers began way before our time and with today's technology will proceed to advance much further. The mystery number of 1089 could also be considered as magical. With the application of algorithm and the use of digits that comprise of 3,4,5,6 and so on numbers, the result will always be 1089 for a 3 digit equation, 10890 for a 4 digit equation, 108900 for a five digit equation, 1089000 for a six digit equation. Lets take a three digit number of 924 and then reverse it to 429, subtract the larger number from the smaller number - 924-429, now add the reverse of 429-, 924 - 429 = 495, now add its reverse 495 + 594 = 1089. Lets try it with a four digit number of 5732 and then reverse it to 2375, subtract the larger number from the smaller number- 5732 -2375 = 3357, now add the reverse of 3357- 3357 + 7533 = 10,890. The first and last digits must not be identical- example is 545, 868, 919.
