Aurora Ohio Mug

A city in North East Ohio, suburb of Cleveland. If you are young enough to be on this website, and have enough time to search for this definition, you probity are aware of how little there is to do. Right now I am bored as shit, which is why I am typing this definition. There is a small skate park and a movie theater, but that’s about it. There is a shopping mall called the ‘Aurora Outlets’, but most of the items sold there are targeted at elderly ladies and the excessively rich. There is a mix of classes in Aurora, with both very rich and very poor. This has lead to a drug ‘problem’ in the High School, with tensions peaking during the 2008-2009 school year with Police Lockdowns and an incident involving a handgun at the school. In 2008 the local football team won the state championship, which seemed like the greatest thing to ever happen in the city, ever. (<- not really) It is also home to a fairly small and under stocked library. It has neither recreation centre nor any other form of entertainment (Other than the aforementioned skate park and movie theater). I used to have a large-ish theme park, called Geauga Lake/Sea World; however it recently became Six Flags. Even more recently it was purchased by Cedar Fair (Owners of the famous Cedar Point) and closed forever (). Aurora is often referred to as a great place to retire, with a total of 4 retirement centers. The city has two Boy Scout troops (265 and 269), two 4-H clubs (Creatures and features and Trail Blazers). It even has two subway restaurants. One final note to all of you young people: Don’t beat me up for writing this. - 2009
