MCYT
MCYT, an acronym for Minecraft YouTube, is used as a generalised term for YouTubers who mainly make Minecraft content, while also used for variety streamers known similarly for their content in the game. Used by fans on DeviantArt and YouTube in the early 2010's, with the earliest known use of the term online in 2015. Used for major SMPs (Survival Multiplayer) members, though people outside of the fandom's circle mainly use the term to refer to the members of the server 'DreamSMP', without knowing that it ranges to other groups on Minecraft YouTube. (Hermitcraft SMP, Yogscast, Team Crafted, Empires SMP, ect.)
