My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance, also known as MCR or My Chem, is an american rock/pop-punk/post-hardcore/punk band that formed in 2001 by members Frank Iero, Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro, and Matt Pelissier. The most famous lineup of the band, however, was made up of Frank Iero, Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro, and Bob Bryar. The bandom, like every normal bandom, has ships. The most famous one is Frerard, consisting of the pairing of Frank Iero and Gerard Way. The most traumatizing is Waycest which is the pairing of brothers Mikey and Gerard Way. My Chemical Romance formed in New Jersey. My Chemical Romance was active 2001-2013. The band broke up on March 22, 2013 via internet post. The former members are doing very well, Gerard Way into comics and The Umbrella Academy, Mikey Way creating his own comic and music, Ray Toro with his music career, and Frank Iero becoming a successful solo artist. The band broke up for Gerard's mental health, along with the rest of the band members. We will all miss MCR, but I personally don't want them to get back together. It's taken a toll on Gerard's mental health.
