ghostin is the 8th track off of ariana grande's thank u,next album. This song is about pete davidson and mac miller. according to grande "we had to take lil breaks from ghostin. that was the first hook done and then we came back and did the verses like two weeks later... everything else we did in like an hour". The meaning is according to grande "feeling badly for the person you're with because you love somebody else. Feeling badly because he can tell he can't compare... and how I she should be ghosting him." This song was very personal to her and she originally didn't want this song to be in the album but her manager convinced her to put it in the album.
