Toys βRβ Us
A defunct brick-and-mortar toy store that opened in June 1957 in D.C. They had a million toys at Toys βΠ―β Us that I could play with. From bikes, to trains, to video games, it was the biggest toy store their was. Its hay day was in the 80s, when it dominated the toy industry. Toys βΠ―β Us started to decline in the late 90s, when online websites such as Amazon were launched and sold toys more conveniently and at a lower price. Charles Lazarus, the storeβs founder, sold it to Bain Capital and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, along with the real-estate firm Vornado Realty Trust in 2005, for $6,600,000,000. Many people mark this as Toys βΠ―β Usβ official beginning of the end. The purchase meant that the toy chain was now $5,000,000,000 in debt, and struggled to pay it off for the next 12 years. On September 18, 2017, Toys βΠ―β Us filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection, hoping to turn around the business. However, after a horrible holiday season in sales and the debt problem not improving, on March 14, 2018, Toys βΠ―β Us announced it would liquidate all 735 of its US stores by the end of June. Finally, on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 9:00 P.M., the last stores were locked up for good. The beloved toy chain was officially gone.

Very basic mug but does the trick!
The mug is a gift for our Fantasy Football league winnerβ¦or loser. I'm not sure yet; it's a bit of a spoof that will be disclosed on Thanksgiving.
This will be the perfect gift this winter! It even came in a nice little box. The mug seems to be of good quality. It was a bit pricy, got to be honest, but itβll be very well received.
Would have like the entire cup with purple color. Not just the part with the slogan. It's a nice cup!

The printing, the Word and it's definition -- were not quite what I expected. And the same word definition ordered on two different mugs, and yet each was described / defined differently.
This was easy to order although I wish the preview pics showed the next on both sides once you finish customizing. But I appreciated that if the text doesn't fit they email you and ask what you want it to say. Came out great and I can't wait to give it as a gift

Well printed, the mug's ceramic is of good quality, I'm not sure what else I can add. I am surprised it could be printed and shipped so quickly based on my earlier experience printing/kiln-firing/baking this kind of product. Well done.

The mug looks great and hasn't faded after multiple runs through the dishwasher. It microwaves well, and the text is sufficiently unruly.
