Special Snowflake Mug
(noun) - (1) a wimp, or overly sensitive male who lacks toughness, emotional fortitude, or traditional qualities of manliness; (2) an insult that is most commonly used by the alt-right against liberals, or (3) a reference to the book/movie "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk. This term was popularized and largely originated in the the book (and movie) "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk, where the protagonist was effectively telling people, "You are NOT a special snowflake." The term "snowflake" may have occasionally been used a bit in the 1970s as an insult to refer to a delicate man, but the term "special snowflake" was popularized by the above "Fight Club" movie.

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'. Quote: " We are all walking wounded held together by the scars of our forbearance and the charity of our sisters and brothers." Truer words have never been said.

What's funny is the saying that everyone searched for is the one that popped up on the cup. So all the weird gross sayings that people are commenting on are completely out of context to everyone seeing their comment.
