Beautiful village in Long Island New York part of the greater Huntington Township. Safe , Friendly place to raise a family. Good Schools , Nice Homes. Yes expensive, & reguardless of what ignorant children say, there are drugs in every town- i grew up in Northport myself. When Children grow up & Actually Pay there own bills & pay real taxes(property taxes) & have "seen the world" they will surely think differently of the quiet little town they think is "racist" or Snobby". Northport is a beautiful place - yes Unique - But No Different then many other towns & villages in this wonderful Country. & Remember - When you are young- you think you are the center of the Universe. ... Sigh.... Other Definitions of Northport though Entertaining ..I must Admit - Are Unrealistic & Immature.
