mosh

1. n. see also 'mosh pit'. an area sometimes allocated nearest the stage at a rock concert in which rockers and/or sometimes emos enjoy the volume of the live music by jumping up and down, headbanging and lifting each other up on to their shoulders, but mostly by slamming into each other as hard as they can to try and knock each other over, fighting with the boys and having sex with the girls. 2. n. is to mosh.1. as war is to warzone i.e. what takes place in a mosh pit 3. the exclamation made by a mosher before they ram into someone else, only used in a non-mosh pit environment, usually before taking unexpecting other people by surprise. 4. v. to charge into someone as hard as possible in an attempt to knock them over (in a mosh pit or otherwise) or ram them into a wall, fence etc. (in a non-mosh pit environment only) 5. cn. collective noun for rocker or mosher mosher:- 1. someone, usually a rocker, sometimes an emo, who partakes in moshes or who moshes other people 2. a rocker
