JLS

JLS stands for Jack the Lad Swing. A British boyband who came in second to Alexandra Burke on X Factor in 2008 but have still had an amazing career. The band consists of 4 members: Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold. They are all good looking, extremely talented in singing and dancing, they are always down-to-earth and make as much time for their fans as they can. Their first two singles 'Beat Again' and 'Everybody in Love' went straight to number 1 in the UK singles charts. Their self-titled debut album sold over 1,000,000 copies in the UK. Their second album 'Outta this World' debuted at number 2 on the UK album charts. JLS won 2 Brit awards in 2010 -BEST British Breakthrough Act & BEST British Single. They also won 4 Mobo Awards. Before X Factor, JLS were called UFO -Unique Famous Outrageous- and won their first award at the Urban Music Awards in late 2007 for BEST un signed act. The boys have gone from strength to strength each year being together now for 4 years. They have had a sold out Theater Tour, a sold out Arena Tour and a sold out Summer Tour. They have also had a 3D movie which was originally going to be out for one day, but due to popular demand, it came out over 2 weekends. JLS have an amazing fanbase which has spread across Europe, America and other countries across the world.
