Hood River Mug
Hood River is both a river and a town. The area is known for Wind-surfing and Kite-boarding and Snow-boarding and skiing. It is close by the Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams, both of which are visible from various parts of the town. It is home to many fun shops such as G. Wilikers (toys) Candy Land, Mike's Ice Cream, and many restaurants. those are only a few of the many shops in Hood River. Another fun thing about Hood River is it's tradition of First Friday. On the first Friday of every month during the spring, summer, and early fall there is a sort of celebration where people have stands open, and different activities are around on all the streets Downtown.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
