Boo Basket: a trend on TikTok where people (usually young women) purchase an assortment of cozy items and put them in a basket, these baskets are typically themed around a season or aesthetic, namely fall, hence the name "boo basket", but not all of them are fall-related. This trend seems to capitalize on the "overconsumption-core" trend on TikTok, where creators will buy excessive amount of items, usually beauty or bath products, and make an aesthetically pleasing video displaying the often alarmingly sized collections of said items, neatly arranged and color-coded. Essentially, it's just another iteration of people buying cutesy items they don't really need for clicks.

Cutlery Drawer: When more than two people are spooning it becomes a cutlery drawer

mastige: London advertising word, possibly used further. Name given to an product which is seen as a prestige item which also has mass market appeal. Mostly used for electronic gadgets.

assgenda: When someone has an agenda to be an ass, or asshole. Said person will enter a situation with the intention of being an ass...or dick...or douche...or tool.

ño: Not any, or used to give a negative response, but with a hint of latin sass

Husbando: Pronounced Huz-band-oh A masculine mirror to Waifu coming from "Husband" (similar to how Waifu comes from "Wife"). Usually used as a name for a fictional character that you have a big crush on.

Boomer Shooter: Noun - A First Person Shooter video game made in the 1990's, or such a game released since then that is characterized by the same conventions of the time. Examples can include Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM (1993), DOOM II: Hell on Earth, DOOM 64, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior (1997), Blood, Quake and Quake II, DUSK (2018), etc.

unarrest: 1. Street tactic used by marchers and protesters who directly engage with police to assist in the escape of individuals who are in the process of being arrested. When a participant is apprehended by authorities, one or more people will rush the officer an attempt to either confuse them or pull the arrestee back into the crowd. 2. Process of on the street negotiations with authorities, often with the help of a legal observer, to get protesters who have been detained out of police custody. 3. Informal term for a legal process where persons who have been arrested can be released on the grounds of false arrest or insufficient evidence.

Yoder: Used in construction to describe high quality work, referring to the Amish quality of construction

Pitchslap: Sliding into someone’s DMs with an unsolicited business proposal or service offer. Connecting with someone under false pretences in order to pitch them your service or product. A bait and switch.

Freegan: Somebody who abstains from contributing to the economy and salvages society's wasted food and resources rather than purchase more themselves. Often pertains to a VEGAN (somebody who doesn't eat/wear animal products) who only makes exceptions when dealing with otherwise wasted items.

Fork found in kitchen: A slang term for a news report that is painfully obvious. Used sarcastically.

Gish Gallop: Infamous debate tactic used by amateurs, grifters who are paid by shills, and people who only care about winning alike, the Gish Gallop is a tactic in which one person purposefully gives as many incorrect or falsely-quoted statistics as possible in a very short time frame. This forces the opponent to waste speaking time taking down endless strawmen and lies created by their opponent, and is usually a sign that the utilizer is arguing in bad faith. People with scientifically/factually incorrect positions such as TERFs, Neo-Nazis, and infamously, Young Earth Creationists, often use this tactic as simply quoting reputable sources and studies is not an option.

Chatfished: To go on a date (especially one arranged online) and realize that the person’s wit, emotional depth, or conversational flair was entirely generated by ChatGPT or another AI — not their real personality. Unlike being catfished, which is about misleading appearance, being chatfished is about the dialogue and persona being AI-generated.
