scene kids Tee

before i begin...i've noticed alot of mean and sarcastic people writing definitions for what a scene kid is and even tho they have gotten alot of it right(i.e tight pants,hair,obsessions w/myspace and dinosaurs,etc...)they all seem to think that we(yes, i am a scene girl) are a big secret club of assholes.and although we do have a tendancy to be an exculsive bunch i cant help but wonder if all you people who are dissing us have been hurt by the fact that their local group of scenesters has rejected their attempt to be included as part of the group,therefore causing said asshole to type up these kinds of definitions (here and on myspace) in jelous rage. also i'd think that they are the same types who put up anti-scene groups and probably some anti-emo groups because these individuals usually cant tell the difference. ANYHOO... scene boy: (aka my typical boyfriend/friend/friends boyfriend) -black hair including/not limited to a chunk of random color(usually blonde or red...sometimes blue) -wears make-up(optional,but very hott) -tight pants or gym shorts if into the hardcore scene as well -must attend shows and is known at all local venues as a regular or as part of a band. -tight shirts to show off sexy skinny-ness -must date cute/pretty/sexy scene girl -piercings are a plus scene girl (aka me/friends/friends girlfriends) -choppy black/blonde hair -into vintage and frequents goodwill or vintage stores -cuts own hair and friends hair(or at least says that she does) -cutoff jeans with or without patches on them -animal prints,stripes and polka dots -bows and ribbons and baby hair clips -hearts and stars -eyebrows pierced,ears,lips,nose or a marylin.any combination of each or just one.none is ok but rare -dates scene boys.(or punk rockers/emo kids/hardcore boys) both = have myspaces. have a very large music collection. frequent shows/record stores. have shopped at hottopic (even if they dont admit it). use cute catch phraises.
