Palestine is a modification of the name given to the land of Judea by the Romans in 70 CE, which was "Palistina" It was occupied by various foreign empires including the Ottoman and British Empires, until 1947's UN resolution 181 which offered states relatively of equal size to the native Arabs and Jews. When the Arabs said no, the Jewish faction took their half and immediately were attacked by their neighbors. They won. Israel attacked again in 1967 in preemptive strike. They won. They were attacked in 1973. They won. Then the Arabs were offered a state in the Oslo Accords. They said no. In 2005, Israel forcibly evicted it's citizens from Gaza, and when Palestinian elections were held, Hamas won and brutally murdered its political opponents. Here we are today.

My wife bought this for me, my only thing about the shirt, is the big Vernon on the front. I think I would prefer it situated and smaller type as if overva pocket. Other than that I love it. Seems to be of good quality and easy wearability, but I have only tried it on, so am uncertain. Thank you for making my day
