Fauxvert Tee
an individual who will outwardly express that they exhibit anything form introversion, shyness, lack of confidence. Or any other number of traits which on paper seem negative but by modern standards have become fashionable attributes, If you claim to be an introvert and are alone. It’s socially accepted, if you’re an extravert and you’re alone: you’re a failure. Same goes with lack of confidence, as stating this makes you seem humble and that you require assistance. So that when you act normal, it becomes something praise worthy. These people often will believe themselves to be telling the truth due to an inability to be honest with themselves, or in the cases of certain more predatory characters: it may be a conscious strategy to garner sympathy. Etymology: the term takes the Latin phrase 'faux' meaning false. and combines it with 'vert' which is latin for 'turn'. The word fits within the paradigm of introvert and extravert. meaning respectively 'inwards turn' and 'outwards turn'. So the 'fauxvert' would mean 'false turn'.
