also reffered to as cyberpranked is a result of action where an unsuspecting victim gets completely annihlated. Getting cyberpunked usually consists of two phases. The first phase is formally called baiting. Goal of this phase is to make victims drop their guard. This is usually achieved by overpromising, falsely reassuring and by giving expectations without planning to meet them. When victim get volnerable and hopeful, second phase begins. In the second phase victim is shown reality that's worse than promised and painfully different from victim's expectations. That's how victim gets cyerpunked.
