Kingston Mug
A small historically significant, but often ignored town in the township of South Brunswick in central New Jersey. Home to the kind of white people you see in movies with a dark filter. You either go here to die in old age or raise a kid for a few years and move on. While a hundred or so years ago, the town was important for business or work, it now serves no real purpose other than to house people or that one busy road that cuts through it all. The Delaware & Raritan Canal that passes through it still gathers enough bikers or middle-aged ladies in running shoes to keep the town somewhat alive, but it's what you don't see that's actually of interest. The circles of beer bottles deep within the woods. The 50 ml vials of vodka that everyone throws out of their cars. That one dark tunnel under the road you just know everyone shoots up or smokes pot in. The Princeton mailing address says it all- no one cares about Kingston anymore.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
