ms-13 Mug
Stands for Mar Salvatruchas Trece (thirteen in Spanish, taken from the Southsiders or Sur 13) Mara Salvatruchas means something like Gangster Salvadoran Soldiers.... Anyway, MS-13 is THE most dangerous gang in America, possibly the world. Why? THey have no purpose other than beating, shooting, and chopping up rival gang members...the problem is, they don't check to make sure someone's a rival before they kill them, they tend to stab first ask later. If you see MS-13 graffiti in your hood, don't freak out...most sets that claim Ms-13 are posers trying to get the same attention. Beware, MS-13 is nationwide and also in MExico and El Salvador. They formed in a funny way....there was a war in El Salvador, so a bunch of Salvadorans moved to LA. THere, they copied the Mexicans in LA and made gangs. The cops busted and deported these gangsters.....and accidentally spread them across the border, multiplying theire numbers. They beat in their members to ensure toughness, and they attack with knives and machetes rather than guns because stabbing is more "up close and personal" so it creates real fear. So yeah...the real MS is scary as hell, the poser MS is laughable. Colors are blue and white....don't confuse with Sur X3 who also uses blue and number 13.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
