Toph Mug
Toph, aka The Blind Bandit, is the earthbender who joins Team Avatar in season 2 of the Nickelodeon cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender" to teach Avatar Aang earthbending. Despite being raised as a fragile little rich girl, she actually has a big straight-to-the-point attitude, is very opinionated and occasionally a little selfish. At the end of season 2 she discovers she can also metalbend and may well be the only metalbender in the world. She fights a bit with the rest of the gang (particularly Katara). Toph's blindness is overcome by her earthbending, as she can see even the tiniest object by sensing the vibrations it sends through the ground. She can even feel heartbeats which makes her a human lie detector. Toph was the only one to stand up for Zuko when he wanted to join the team to teach Aang firebending because she could tell he was being sincere is his offer to help. In a sense she can see more than her visually sound teammates.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
