National Laufey Day takes place on April 23rd. Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir Lau-Vay Lin Yons-doe-tear (born April 23, 1999), known by the mononym Laufey Lau-Vay, Lay-Vay, Law-Fey is an Icelandic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who became popular in the early 2020s. She describes her musical style, a mixture of jazz pop and bedroom pop, as modern jazz. Shes such an amazing person that has inspired many many people like myself that I thought she deserved her own day. Laufey has inspired me so greatly and personally i relate to all of her songs deeply, she motivates me to get out of my bed everyday and makes me just want to dance all day to her songs. I wish the text on the back wasn’t so small—if I had to order it over again I would’ve inquired as to whether the words could be enlarged so it filled up more of the “white space” on the back
