He gathers his power from Florence Welch. He can also be a fallen angel incarnated by Florence Welch and she gives him power. His songs are how he controls us. Maybe also the reincarnation of Hades and Florence Welch is Persephone. They took music classes from Orpheus and now have their followers as their modern day worshippers. All theories are correct and I would not be surprised if he revealed them to be true.
