The Rule of Goats: The Rule of Goats says that self-awareness or irony doesn't change public perception. If you fuck a goat, even if you say it's for the lulz or to prove a larger point, you're still a goat-fucker. The saying was coined by criminal defense attorney Ken White of the Popehat Report. It's loosely connected to an Irish Pub joke about an old man who has multiple accomplishments but also once fucked a goat. In the end, nobody recognizes him for his achievements and instead only knows him as the goat-fucker.

broligarch: A portmanteau of "bro" and "oligarch". A broligarch refers to an ultra-wealthy man who uses his fortune and status to sway government policies, political agendas, and cultural narratives. Broligarchs are often characterized by their bro culture and sneakers-with-suits vibes. Despite their laid-back image, they operate as political kingmakers, funding campaigns, lobbying, and shaping laws that align with their own interests. One minute they're posting memes, the next they're deciding tax policy. In many parts of the world this would be considered corruption. In the US? It's just business as usual.

Punisher: A person that seeks out band members at a show for the specific goal of asking them details about all the minutiae of recording, playing, writing and/or tells the band member all the details of their own recording, playing or writing.

Wishcycle: Tossing questionable items in the recycling bin, hoping they can somehow be recycled.

hard mode: (n), a tougher or more intense iteration of an idea. The term comes from video games, in which there are often harder difficulty settings (or "hard modes") than the standard gameplay, intended for players looking for a challenge. In MMORPGs, "hard modes" are triggered versions of boss encounters that cause them to become more difficult than usual, but offer better rewards.

Educide: It is the mass destruction of a country or region's educational infrastructure because of war, invasion, conflict, terrorism, or mass killings.

TikTok refugee: One that has gone to great lengths to escape the unrelenting grips of the US Governmental ban on TikTok, typically by utilizing alternate authentic Chinese entertainment apps.

smedium: Refering to the size of an article of clothing (usually a man's shirt) where the article is clearly bought one size too small as to display one's musclularity. Usually worn but not limited to bars, clubs, or social gathering where high numbers of attractive females tend to congregate. Commonly mistakn for a shirt you stole from your 12 yr.old brother.

bass ackwards: Ass backwards. The state doing (or having done) something the wrong way.

go bag: (noun) a carry-bag that you keep by the door in case you have to evacuate from home on very short notice, or accompany someone to the hospital on an emergency basis

disaster capitalism: (POLICY) an extreme form of capitalism created in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. In some cases, as in Chile (1973), the disaster is a coup d'etat with the express purpose of imposing disaster capitalism. In other cases, such as the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, it is a genuine natural disaster that literally kills. After some disasters, the authorities in some countries may well respond by imposing "reforms" that would have been impossible before. These include: (1) privatization of public property, making it unavailable to the indigenous people; (2) arbitrary elimination of laws ("deregulation"); and (3) slashing democratically chosen programs that help ordinary citizens ("austerity programs"). The concept was popularized in Naomi Klein's excellent 2007 book, *The Shock Doctrine*.

procrastibaking: to procrastinate writing a paper (or other dreaded task) by baking

Neutral Ground: New Orleans slang for what most cities call the "median" --the little strip of ground in the middle of the road.

Consoomer: a person who bases his identity on consuming the latest tech and entertainment or anything else that is not a significant improvement for his/ her life. Due to this many products and franchises plateau as consoomers will buy those products without any regard for quality.
