Victim Role-Playing: Sufferers often perceive themselves as perpetual victims under attack from the media, political opponents, and non-believers, reinforcing their loyalty to Trump. Aggressive Defensiveness: Confronted with contrary evidence, those with Trumphausen Syndrome may react with hostility or regurgitate debunked talking points. Causes include identity politics, media echo chambers, charismatic leadership, social belonging, and a deep-seated distrust of traditional institutions.
