Psi Xi Omicron is a community service based co-ed fraternity founded in 1989 at Daemen College, originally as a sorority. It was officially on campus in the summer of 1992. Psi Xi Omicron was organized because our 9 founding members Valerie Swartz Pumford, Mary Beth Schaeffer, Becky Long, Donna Fullager, Christine Coller, Jackie Toppin, Stacey Baron, Kelly Jo Robbins and Katherine Olochnowitz found that none of the existing greek organizations at Daemen College at that time served the community with such passion that they all shared. Psi Xi Omicron fraternity has always upheld the founding members goal of making community service a priority, and having fun while doing it together as a family. Through hard work, dedication, and the support of faculty and staff on campus, the founding members had created Psi Xi Omicron. The fraternity has since flourished into one of the most recognized and active organizations on campus, especially in the field of community service. In the summer of 2010, the active members of Psi Xi Omicron decided to open the sorority to men and become a co-ed fraternity. Good stuff! Although, I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is cursed. You see, whenever i dawn this top-teir, soft, stylish shirt - I proceed to pass out within 46 seconds. The mere act of making contact with the material insues the process of this countdown starting. If I do not quit contact, i will lose conciousness the exact moment the countown hits 0. And when I regain clarity, I find myself in a bathtub - never mine, but a bathtub nevertheless. In the bathtub, there is always various colours of hairdye. I then have to go back home, shirt stained with dye. Very fashionable though! 10/10
