The belief that there are two kinds of people in the world. Smart people and dumb people. In the world of dumbism society is divided into spaces for both kinds of people. Examples: Some jobs are for smart people. Some are for dumb people. Some colleges are for smart people, some colleges are for dumb people. This career/field is for smart people, this career and field is for dumb people. Dumb people think this. Smart people think that. A dumbist aside from ascribing to this worldview may also discriminate against those who they perceive as dummies, may hold IQ tests in high regard, and assign special status to "using of the head" i.e. "this job lets you use your head, you should be grateful you are not in a dumb job." This is contrary to the idea of all humans having measurable experiences, and being knowledgeable in those areas. Humans that acknowledge that people are knowledgable in their areas of interests and ignorant outside them tend to be able to learn from others by using them as a library to make up for their own deficiencies. Good stuff! Although, I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is cursed. You see, whenever i dawn this top-teir, soft, stylish shirt - I proceed to pass out within 46 seconds. The mere act of making contact with the material insues the process of this countdown starting. If I do not quit contact, i will lose conciousness the exact moment the countown hits 0. And when I regain clarity, I find myself in a bathtub - never mine, but a bathtub nevertheless. In the bathtub, there is always various colours of hairdye. I then have to go back home, shirt stained with dye. Very fashionable though! 10/10
