Agoraikon (ἀγοραεικών, agoraeikṓn) is a word within contentinternet. It’s a public figure or entity that reaches icon status thru sustained engagement in collective discourse. An agoraikon is a recognizable yet permeable cultural presence, adapting to engagement rather than being fixed. Its significance emerges thru interaction, shaping & being shaped by public perception. Agoraikons emerge thru multiple mechanisms. Typecasting & hivemindidioms reinforce recognition & structure engagement. Typecasting links figures to recurring archetypes across narratives. Hivemindidioms frame how an entity is engaged with, influencing interpretation & limiting or expanding discussion. Neither is required for an agoraikon to exist, but both shape how figures gain recognition & sustain presence in contentinternet. Agoraikons are a tool to understand polymorphousmythology, which is both Jungian methodology & object of study. They show how cultural symbols evolve, interact, & persist across contexts, tracking the fluid relationship between archetypes, collective memory, & meaning formation. Agoraikons engage as mediated entities in the fogofwar between gorgonwars & egregorewars. Even those aware of their subjectivity may treat eachother as agoraikons—see Dwight Schrute interviewing Walter White, who in polymorphousmythology is also seen as dad from Malcolm in the Middle. Perception shapes engagement regardless of individual awareness.

Good stuff! Although, I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is cursed. You see, whenever i dawn this top-teir, soft, stylish shirt - I proceed to pass out within 46 seconds. The mere act of making contact with the material insues the process of this countdown starting. If I do not quit contact, i will lose conciousness the exact moment the countown hits 0. And when I regain clarity, I find myself in a bathtub - never mine, but a bathtub nevertheless. In the bathtub, there is always various colours of hairdye. I then have to go back home, shirt stained with dye. Very fashionable though! 10/10
