If you peer into someone's fridge, and they got a baking soda in there, and it's dated from like, a year ago, then you know they aren't even trying. This is the tried-and-true method to figure out if someone is even worth being friends with, let alone date. It's the ultimate shit test, most people fail, so that's something you gotta watch out for. Now this isn't always a deal-breaker, but it's a red flag.
