A combination of hate and patriot, duh. A hateriot is a person who preaches a message of hate and exclusion of non-white, non-christians, disguised as being patriotic or having American values. Hateriots are deniers of reason, science and proof, instead adhering to an ultra-conservative religious dogma, crazy conspiracy theories or other wing-nut 'right-wing' ideas. A hateriot will claim 'end of times' or an end to America and American way of life because of something the government has or has not done or because we as a people are not god fearing enough. Hateriots are extremely vocal regarding opposition to equality for all people, claiming we, as a country have lost our way with god. Also, they tend to saying allot of bat shit crazy stuff about the president with no facts or proof. Examples of people who spew hateriotic rhetoric include the likes of: Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Erik Rush, Mike Huckabee, Benham Twins, Michele Bachmann, Pat Robertson, Sarah Palin, etc.
