However, she will always have a place in your mind. Even if you can't say it to her face, you wish the best for her. She was your first love, but most importantly she was a good friend. You and her will grow older. You will go live your life, and she hers. She will find a husband, start a family, and move on. It seems strange to think of that now, of someone that has impacted your life so greatly becoming something so distant and far. Maybe you'll remember her, and if you're lucky maybe she'll do the same. And perhaps then a smile will come across your face, and you'll thank God that you knew such a person, even if it was for a little while.

Your description is right on, except in 1989 I named my daughter Kallen Mikel (www.kallenmikel.com/original-art). I thought I made up the name, but apparently, it originated as a boy's name in Greek and Hebrew. I first found this out in 2001 when I was traveling to Finland. In the 'tube food' section in a big Finnish supermarket there it was, a royal blue tube of salmon paste with a blonde-haired boy named Kallen! So now I have discovered that there are many Kallen's of both sexes. I want to buy her a cup, but it has 'him' on it. Is there any way you can make that a unisex description for both sexes? Just askin'. Being a Barbara (Barbs) myself ... a 'cake eater' from Edina, MN I had to ask ... haha ;-)
