Someone who isn’t quite as tall as they say they are. Usually the “5th roomate” who doesn’t contribute positively to any situation. A Beta knows how to make food, but in reality just goes to simple places like chipotle all the time and plays the role of “food eater”. A beta within the household is always the designated “trash man” aka “garbage dude”. While this is the title, he never actually does his job or any job correctly, creating stress between the others that do productive things.
