goonlight: This is a term first used by Nick from Nick's strength and power in late 2020. This refers to the lighting which is used by bodybuilders and gym goers when they take selfies and trying to show off their physics. This lighting along with the camera angle often make people look more muscular and shredded and it is not a real reflection of what their body looks in real life.

Crow bro: A crow that is so legit and chill that it officially qualifies as a bro.

Tacticool: A portmanteau of "tactical" and "cool". Describes equipment, clothing, or cars that evokes a military aesthetic (e.g. being all black or camo, having straps, velcro patches, tactical rails, an "angry face" or huge tires for cars, combat boots in general). Tacticool things are usually used by people who think they're the main character or would have any chance in a real fight, or are just misanthropic in general and want to feel safe from like. trans people or whatever.

rope a dope: a strategy to appear weak to convince an opponent to attack and fall into a trap. a joke that suggests one thought just to set up a twist.

liemax: According to online resources, a "real" IMAX screen is a screen that is totally "immersive" and fills your field of vision. A "fake" IMAX screen, or Liemax, is a screen that is branded "IMAX" the same as giant screens, but is not that much larger than regular movie screens, and does not fill your field of vision. Thus, it's just another rip-off for your bucks.

Typically wearing a Juicy Couture track suit and Ugg platform fuzzy slippers. A play on the term “homebody.”

DUI-Hire: A term used to describe both: A hiring decision perceived as impaired or flawed, suggesting that the decision-makers were "under the influence" of biases or external pressures, leading to the selection of an unqualified or controversial candidate. The individual who has been hired through such a process, implying they may lack the necessary qualifications or have a controversial background.

friendship: Something that is much underrated in our society. Friendship is actually a form of love (here I'm not talking exclusively about erotic love). It's not a lesser form of love than erotic love, only a different form of love. In fact, the ancient Greeks had a word, "phileos", more or less equating to fraternal/brotherly love (friendship). Friendship seems to have no observable biological necessity(unlike parental love, necessary for humans to grow, and erotic love, necessary for humans to reproduce), and not much of a marketable appeal (as opposed to the millions/billions of dollars worth of things sold to people trying to better their marriages or parenting skills), yet without such a form of love as friendship our societies would be unbearably dull and alienated from one another. One can love their friends as well as their "significant other", just not in the same way (the difference here is quality, not necessarily quantity).

Despite ALL other posts suggestion the origion of this phrase there is only one true answer: Chumley's, a famous and OLD New York speakeasy, is located at 86 Bedford St. During Prohibition, an enterance through an interior adjoing courtyard was used, as it provided privacy and discretion for customers. As was (and is) a New York tradition, the cops were on the payroll of the bar and would give a ring to the bar that they were coming for a raid. The bartender would then give the command "86 everybody!", which meant that everyone should hightail it out the 86 Bedford enterance because the cops were coming in through the courtyard door.

A meme relating to a mid-term philosophy essay paper titled "Mario, the Idea vs. Mario, the Man" featuring iconic phrases such as "Everyone knows Mario is cool as fuck (horrible opening)" "And why do we think of him as fondly as we think of the mythical (nonexistent?) Dr Pepper? (???)" "When Mario leaves his place of safety to stomp a turty, he knows that he may Die. (Ok?)" and "The lifekind. (What) Perchance."
