Simply known as Wey Gey Hey or Gey Hey, Wesley Girls’ High School (WGHS ) Is the name of a prestigious all female Senior High School in Cape-Coast which is known for its motto “Live Pure, Speak True, Right Wrong and Follow the King. A Senior High school that is unmatched in academia and sports, having produced women of substance all over the world in the likes of Mrs Georgina Wood etc, The former Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana. They are also paired with Mfantsipim School, simply known as Botwe which is an all male Senior High School, also known for its prestige and excellence in producing men of value. Students of Wesley Girls are usually in competition with no one but themselves to become reliable future problem solvers that the world really needs. It is interesting to note that because of how successful products of the school are, a few schools have changed their names and adopted names such as Kumasi Wesley Girls , Accra Wesley Girls etc. It is truly an honor when one has their name attached to Wesley Girls High School as it shapes the younger generation into successful and hardworking role models that everyone can look up to. Good stuff! Although, I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is cursed. You see, whenever i dawn this top-teir, soft, stylish shirt - I proceed to pass out within 46 seconds. The mere act of making contact with the material insues the process of this countdown starting. If I do not quit contact, i will lose conciousness the exact moment the countown hits 0. And when I regain clarity, I find myself in a bathtub - never mine, but a bathtub nevertheless. In the bathtub, there is always various colours of hairdye. I then have to go back home, shirt stained with dye. Very fashionable though! 10/10
