Urkelship is defined as a relationship between two entities that is accepted by one entity and rejected by the other entity. This word originates from the American sitcom Family Matters. A character, Steve Urkel was relentless when asking Laura Winslow to go out on dates, be his boyfriend, etc.... He would get rejected every time yet he would keep trying.
