troll
Trolling 101: The internet was created by science geeks, the first generation was only tech savvy ppl interacting, they created the Social dynamic for social media originally, as the internet took off and became more public, expertise was reduced, so that more ppl can use the internet, i Wanted to get on that first wave but couldn't, anyway, as it grew more and more amateurs got on to argue/discuss/debate science issues, the discussion forum was born, with that came bad science, and the internet users of the day attacking bad science, tempers got heated, and some discussions turned into 'Flame Wars' nothing but who can Insult the best...(this is what most ppl think of as Trolling, but it is not...) Trolling is a thing that came to be, because the 'fundies' with their bad science would not listen to reason, so the science geek had to 'bait' them with questions, that just might cause them to think, or at the very least force them to look up links to substantiate their argument.. In the Truest most simplistic sense of 'Trolling' would be to generate discussion, to learn what is true, and what is not.. It is supposed to feed people.... unfortunately all most see is Flame wars, (justification)
