Title IX
Title IX is commonly referred to on college campuses when discussing rape or other sexual assault or harassment. It also helps gender equality in sports and other activities as well as LGBTQ+ issues. Title IX is a federal civil rights law in the United States of America that was passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. It states that No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
