The shower

The shower can be in a separate shower cubicle or be connected to the water taps belonging to a bathtub. There are permanently installed showers and hand showers. They are connected to water pipes and are usually equipped with thermostatically controlled mixers for maximum comfort and optimal energy consumption. They are usually adjustable to be adjusted to the showerer's height. In front of the shower cubicle there is often a shower curtain or similar device. Showering requires less hot water than taking a tub bath, which is why it is often recommended for water and energy saving purposes. The comparison is based on a shower of some or a few minutes and a full normal-sized bathtub; conditions may change if these conditions are modified.
