SV (Scroll Velocity) , refers to the niche gameplay type found in popular rhythm games such as Quaver, Osu Mania, and NotITG. SV is commonly seen as a hinderance in these games, as levels (or mapsets, maps, charts ect.) that feature SV effects are much harder to complete and or understand, thus causing many players to avoid it.
