Sniglet
A Sniglet is any word that doesn't appear in the dictionary, but should. The Sniglets books were made in 1984 and 1985 by Rich Hall, a writer/actor for HBO's "Not Necessarily the News", "Fridays", and "The David Letterman Show". The illustrations of the two books were made by Arnie Ten, an award-winning cartoonist living in Brooklyn. Since the Sniglets's first airing on "Not Necessarily the News", thousands of viewers contributed to the books with their own Sniglets.
