Mostly consists of teens and children (9 - 16). As the name itself says these are girls who act sad. They glorify depression and anxiety as something quirky to have. They have zero understanding how these mental illnesses work therefore they can't even act like they've got it. Most of sad girls post videos on Tik Tok about how they've got no friends (which is mostly made up as they're the kind of popular girls in the schools they go to). You may have seen a sad girl on the internet posting glitchy effect simpson wallpapers, some lo-fi edits, tik tok videos about running from home, videos about preparing depressed aesthetic outfits or maybe even memes about how being depressed can change your life.
