Still essentially mediocre, but with some fancy frills polishing the appearance without substantial improvement. Originally coined by Venkatesh Rao in 02017 "Premium mediocre is the finest bottle of wine at Olive Garden." it has quickly spread from Twitter throughout the intarwebz.
