Phantom
Type-52 Troop Carrier The Phantom is the primary dropship used by the Covenant in Halo 2 and Halo 3. In Halo 2, troops are deployed through a gravity lift, and three plasma cannons defend the troops as they are being dropped. In Halo 3, troops primarily exit through side doors in a manner similar to the Spirit dropship of Halo: Combat Evolved. But it still looks roughly the same, and it still has the gravity lift. It is defended by one large plasma cannon and two plasma turrets.
