Nucas, often referred to as the west side of New Braunfels, Texas, is a vibrant neighborhood predominantly populated by Hispanic residents. The area has also gained attention for reported sightings of supernatural beings such as La Lechuza, duendes, El Camaroncito, La Llorona, and the Crooked Bent Man near the train tracks adjacent to the abandoned church. The latter has reportedly followed people to their homes. Notably, in 2021, local police reported a sighting of the Crooked Bent Man on the tracks near the abandoned church and the DBATs facility, adding to the area's mysterious allure.
