NTP
In golf - Nearest The Pin. Most golf clubs hold NTP competitions on one or two par 3s, with entrants stumping up $1 or $2 to make a pool of winnings. The first person to hit the green marks that location and puts their name on a sheet. Anyone who hits it closer moves the marker. At the end of the day, the last person on the sheet (whose tee shot is Nearest The Pin) collects the whole pool of cash money.
