NGEd
A gaming term, meaning to drasticly change something and in doing so make it alot worse. The term NGE itself - stands for New Gaming Experience, or New Game Engine. The term originates from a largely popular game 'Star Wars Galaxies' - developers at Sony Online Entertainment, released an update for the online sensation that was SWG Pre-NGE and in doing so, drasticly changed the game for the worse, angering large portions of the player base, resulting in over 80% of active subscriptions being terminated. Because of this, the term is now used to express failure when attempting to make changes to something.
