There is no word for not being able to smell. If you can't see, you're blind; can't hear, you're deaf, but what about not being able to smell? There is no word for this, and it's a very common occurrence. Anytime you have a cold or you're stuffed up with a flu, etc. you lose the sense of smell. The word munt has its origins over 20 years ago when my friend Tyler Carlo created the word in Richmond, Virginia when we were in high school. I've used the word ever since, and most people don't even question its validity.
