Maje es una palabra usada en El Salvador. 1. Una forma más informal de referirse a un amigo. Es más usado entre grupos de personas que tienen alrededor de la misma edad. Una forma más informal y más íntima de tratar a un amigo o persona de confianza. 2. También puede llegar a tener una connotación negativa entre otras persona, generalmente entre personas de mayor edad. A) Puede significar una persona tonta, boba o poco inteligente (también es usado así entre amigos). B)También se usa para personas que son fáciles de inducir o que son controlados por alguien; generalmente, por su pareja o amigos. 3. Igualmente se puede usar como una forma despectiva de dirigirse a otra persona. Alguien que no te cae bien o que no es buena persona. Como alguien indeseado.
