loom (verb) \ ˈlüm \ : the act of hitting/striking/kicking/harming someone in an overtly violent fashion, usually entailing the act being performed with an element of surprise. Vernacular usage originates circa 1989 from the popular motion picture 'Halloween' and is named for one of the characters, Dr. Loomis, hence the original usage, 'getting loomed'; meaning passive provocation leading to a surprising violent act, similar to Michael Myers attacks. Later, in its evolution, the word would be shouted in celebration of blows being landed; UFC fight were audience members would yell, "Loom...loom...loom..." as blows rained down on a participant in a bout.

My wife bought this for me, my only thing about the shirt, is the big Vernon on the front. I think I would prefer it situated and smaller type as if overva pocket. Other than that I love it.
